We at Bethlehem believe deeply in the Great Commission given by Christ to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20) We actively look beyond ourselves and give freely to spread the good news about Jesus in Honduras, Brazil, and Columbia. We correspond regularly with these missionary families and assist them in other ways.
We also support a church camp, a Christian University, 2 children's homes, a Christian home for the elderly, a radio ministry, and a ministry which assists new congregations and prints Christian resources.
Our preaching minister has worked with missions in 11 countries, while many other members have also visited multiple foreign mission fields and worked on several relief projects in the U.S.
Each month we feature one of our missions or Christian organizations to keep the congregation informed and prayerful about them.

We are also passionate about reaching out and serving our local community. We do this in a number of ways and have 2 active ministries at Bethlehem that work to facilitate and maintain this effort.
HELPING HANDS MINISTRY TEAM"Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Gal. 6:10
BCC's Helping Hands Ministry is comprised of a large group of people who seek to demonstrate the love of Christ to others within our faith community by meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of members. When a need surfaces within our spiritual family one of the coordinators contacts a member who feels specifically gifted with abilities that can help the person in need. |
REACH OUT MINISTRY TEAM"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?" James 2:14
BCC's Reach Out Ministry Team works to facilitate, manage and maintain an array of opportunities in which our congregations works together to reach out to our community. We want to represent Christ well in whatever we do. Because this is our highest priority, we strive to continually keep our focus on people and what we can do to reach the most so as to draw everyone we contact closer to the love and security of Jesus Christ. |
